What kind of furnace repair parts do you keep on your truck?

We keep a couple of thermocouples and a glow plug just in case the furnace will not come back on after a cleaning.

Is there anything else that you keep on your truck that would be a simple fix in the field?

Furnace filters are a very standard item. Thermocouples and ignitor parts are things that fail. I know someone who use to carry a complete range of belts for fans and a motor or two. Most furnaces have direct drive fans now. Electronic control boards may need to be changed but are usually brand specific.

I think a lot depends on if you are comfortable with doing repairs and the types of systems in your service area. Some people may have a referral network and some HVAC contractors doing air duct cleaning will just do the work themselves. Furnaces have changed over the years as well so the parts needed are a little different. There are certain things that are more likely to fail.
