Cold weather cleaning

Just curious about how others in Northern climates handle this....If you use an outdoor vacuum/collector like a power vac truck how do you block off the open doorway where you run your vacuum hoses into a home or building? Do you use plastic, foam, a curtain, or some other method?

I use a 9 x 12 canvas tarp held in place by spring loaded shower bars.

Sorry, not canvas, they are a softer cloth painter's tarp.
